It's amazing how we take the things for granted such like high speed internet and computers in classrooms. To us just to be connected to the internet is such a normal routine, we complain when a internet page takes more then two seconds to load. Imagine these children in Peru did a simple search and it took several minutes just to find that search.
The importance of children knowing how to use a laptop is very useful for a kid future now a days. Since technology offers unlimited access of knowledge that a child can learn. Every child in this time of era should be taught how to use a computer and experience a whole new world. For the children of peru who are consider more poorer then someone who is poor, its a great advantage for them since they can see outside of the world they know and new doors can open for them since they are too poor to even have a book with these free laptops they can have all those digital books for free.

I agree with you, some people do take things for granted not realizing how other people are unfortunate to have what they have.
taking things for granted has become an art form in this country. People dont even realize that they are blessed to have the very ground they walk on. They dont have to travel for miles on dirt roads like some people do. Even by foot. It is a reality.
